Cyprus has one of the longest summers in the Mediterranean, so it’s a great choice for late-season sun as well as the summer holidays.
English is widely spoken and you drive on the left, which makes exploring easy. Paphos is full of history, from Roman mosaics to Aphrodite’s Rock, while Protaras and Ayia Napa have some of the island’s best sandy beaches. Inland, the Troodos Mountains offer cool villages and wineries.

Planning your trip
Best time to go. The season runs from spring well into the autumn. July and August are the hottest months, while May, June, September and October are warm and a little quieter.
Getting there. Flights land at Paphos or Larnaca, depending on where you’re staying. There are flights from Birmingham, Manchester and other UK airports, and we’ll choose the airport that keeps your transfer short.
