Overview
Egypt’s Red Sea coast offers winter sun, warm sea and some of the best snorkelling and diving close to Europe, with coral reefs just offshore from many hotels.
Most holidays are based in Sharm el-Sheikh, Hurghada or the quieter bays nearby, often on an all-inclusive basis. Boat trips, desert excursions and snorkelling fill the days, or you can simply relax by the pool.
For history lovers, we can add a trip to Luxor and the Valley of the Kings, or arrange a Nile cruise.

Planning your trip
Best time to go. Egypt is a favourite for winter sun, with warm days from autumn through to spring. Summer is very hot, though sea breezes on the Red Sea coast help. We’ll always check the latest UK government travel advice with you before you book.
Getting there. Flights go to Sharm el-Sheikh or Hurghada, and run from UK airports including Manchester and Birmingham depending on the season. We’ll compare the options and handle your transfers.
Visas. Most UK visitors need a visa for Egypt; we’ll explain the latest entry rules when you book.
